Because of a recent move or simply entering the incorrect address at checkout, SEKO will be happy to help change the delivery address upon request.
If you are an end customer receiving a parcel, unfortunately, we are unable to take re-direction requests directly from you. This is due to SEKO’s strict data-privacy terms. Please kindly reach out to your retailer and request this as soon as possible so we can try and get this amended for you. The only exception to this rule is if your parcel is currently being delivered by the carriers; GoPeople or NZ Post, whereby you can amend the address yourself.
If you are a retailer, please note that we cannot guarantee the success of any change of address request as there are many moving parts including expedited timeframes for delivery with the parcels often being difficult to intercept. It should be noted that the further into the delivery journey the parcel is, the likelihood of the redirection request being successful decreases.
When can SEKO change the address?
We are able to change the address within our system if the package being shipped meets the below criteria:
- The final mile carrier is either; NZ Couriers, GoPeople, Toll, Australia Post or Couriers Please
- AND the parcel hasn't yet had its' final depot scan by SEKO
If the parcel does not meet the above criteria, you will be presented with two options upon reaching out to our CS team;
- We can RTS the parcel back to you in order for a new label to be re-attached at your facility
- We can wait until the parcel is with the final mile carrier and request this change of address from the carrier (however this may not always be successful despite our best efforts due to the nature of the services expedited timeframe)
To request a change of address:
- Please lodge a ticket via our webform (link to article), choosing ‘delivery’ as your enquiry request
- Share with us the new address you would like this parcel redirected to.
Once you have submitted your ticket, our dedicated CS team will respond to you in a timely manner to ensure the best chance of success of this redirection request.
